For game masters
The land your campaign plays in
Draw the continent, its kingdoms and borders, the towns and the roads between them, and put your notes on the places that matter. Then send your players a link to look around in 3D.
Drawing The Shattered Marches
The Shattered Marches: a starting village, rival realms, a dragon's mountain, a haunted wood and a necromancer's tower. Click a place on the map to read its hooks, rumours and loot.
What it does
Everything has a place
Notes on every place
Give towns, fortresses and landmarks a description and notes. Click a place on the 3D map and they open, at the table or at home.
Notes for placesA world in minutes
Generate a whole world (land, rivers, towns, kingdoms, roads, borders, forests and names) and make it your own, or draw it coast by coast.
The generatorsA link for the players
Share a world with a link your players can open without an account: to look around, not to change. Night and rain on the 3D map set the mood.
Saving and sharingThe 2D map
A map for the table
Download the drawn map as a PDF to print on A3, or as an image for a screen or a virtual tabletop.
Ideas
At the table
- Put the dungeon, the ruined abbey and the smugglers' cove on the map, with notes on each.
- Plan journeys with real distances: every road and river shows its length in kilometres.
- Draw kingdoms and their borders, or have the land divided between the capitals for you.
- Scatter ruins, fortresses and landmarks over the wilds for the party to stumble on.
- Show the world on a screen as the party travels, by day or by night.
Drawing the map…
Good to know
Before you share
Players don't need accounts
Anyone with the link can open the world, in 3D or as a 2D map, without being able to change it.
Everything on it is shown
A shared world shows all its places and notes, so keep secrets off it for now. A game master's view, with things revealed bit by bit, is planned.
For any game
There are no rules or dice built in, so it suits whatever system you play.
Build your campaign's world
Open the Shattered Marches and make them yours, or start from an empty sea.
